Glasgwegian portraits

It is a very rare occassion that a modern man who is busy with everyday routine can really enjoy a walk in a street, even more rarely he can watch other people enjoying a walk outside, but sometimes it happens, sometimes all of us watch a crowd, then focus on the most interesting person and watch him for some time, realizing that this particular person has life on his own, routine, feelings, business and so on, just like any of us.

Several weeks ago I spontaneously decided to go out in the streets of Glasgow, spend a day there and “spy” on people in public places.

Here are some of the results.

Glasgow, where the streets have different names

It’s now four days that journalists, Brad Pitt fans and other interested Glaswegians crowded streets around St. George’s Square.

If not the Gothic architecture  it would be  almost impossible to tell the difference between the above mentioned area and Philadelphia, a city where an action for a new Hollywood Zombie Blockbuster, World War Z takes place.

Brad Pitt, who plays main character in the film arrived with wife Angelina Jolie and their six kids on Monday, chartering a whole train from London causing fans all around Glasgow chase them in hope to have at least a glimpse of the two celebrities.

The streets themselves have been completely transformed and the film crew made sure every detail is counted.
